Is this an airport transfer service?
No. We do not run transfers and we do not provide a driver. This is self-drive hire. You collect the shuttle near the airport and drive it yourself for the length of your trip.

How many people and bags does it actually take?

Do I need a special licence to drive it?
No. A standard car licence is all you need. It is an automatic and it drives like a large car rather than a truck: car-height, good visibility, and comfortable on the Crown Range or the lake road to Glenorchy.
What is included in the daily rate?
Comprehensive insurance under our rental agreement (NZ$2,500 excess, reducible from NZ$25/day), unlimited use on sealed roads, and a full handover so you leave knowing the vehicle. Minimum hire is 3 days.
