What types of cars do you have available? | We offer a curated range of exciting and luxury vehicles:

Are there any additional fees? | The price you see is what you pay for the hire. Optional extras (e.g., airport transfer), one-way fees (if selected), and excess kilometres may apply. Full details are in our Terms. |
Are there age or licence restrictions? | Yes — drivers must be 25+ with a full, valid licence. International licences are welcome where valid in New Zealand. |
Are insurance and roadside assistance included? | Yes — standard insurance and roadside assistance are included. You can reduce your excess on the Insurance & Excess Reduction page. |
How is the bond and final payment handled? | Bonds and final payment are taken online a few days before your hire starts. Bonds are automatically released 48 hours after the car is returned (processing times may vary by bank). |
What are the mileage and EV return policies? | Standard hire includes 250 km per day averaged across your booking (e.g., 10 days = 2,500 km). Excess kilometres are $0.40/km. Range Rover Sport is $0.60/km. EVs: Vehicles leave fully charged; please return at ≥80% charge (otherwise a $35 fee applies). |
How do I charge the EVs? | Your EV includes a mobile charger for overnight charging at accommodation. NZ has thousands of public chargers — popular apps include PlugShare and ChargeNet. Public charging costs are paid by the renter. |
Do you provide airport transfers? | Yes — a paid airport transfer between Christchurch Airport and our office can be booked during the booking process. |
Can I pick up or drop off outside business hours? | Yes — after-hours collections and returns are available by arrangement. Share your flight or schedule during booking. |
What documents do I need at pickup? | A full, valid driver licence; the payment card used online; and for international renters, a passport. Non-English licences require an official English translation or IDP. |
Can I change or cancel my booking? | Yes — changes and cancellations are possible. See our Terms for the full cancellation policy. |
Can I extend my hire? | Usually — subject to availability. Let us know as early as possible so we can secure the dates. |
Can I add additional drivers? | Yes — additional named drivers are welcome if they meet the same age and licence requirements. Add them during booking or let us know before pickup. |
Do you offer child seats? | Yes — baby and kids’ seats can be selected while completing your booking. |
Can I take the car to the North Island? | Yes — inter-island travel is allowed. Please include ferry timings in your booking notes so we can plan support if needed. |
Can your cars be used on gravel roads or to ski fields? | Selected vehicles only. The Range Rover Sport is suitable for gravel roads. Other performance vehicles are not approved for gravel or ski-field access. |
Do you deliver to hotels or private addresses? | Yes — by arrangement within Christchurch. Ask during the booking process. |
What payment methods do you accept? | We accept major credit and debit cards for online payment and bond. Charges may appear as separate transactions. |
Where do I pick up and drop off? | At our Christchurch office. Airport transfer (paid) can be added to your booking. |
Do your cars have Apple CarPlay/Android Auto? | Many vehicles do. If this is essential for your trip, tell us during booking and we’ll confirm compatibility. |
What if my flight is delayed? | No problem — keep us updated and we’ll adjust pickup arrangements where possible. |
What if I’m running late on return day? | Please let us know as soon as possible. Grace periods are limited; additional charges may apply beyond your scheduled time. |
Are pets allowed? | By prior arrangement only. Please advise at booking time; additional cleaning fees may apply. |
Do you offer discounts or promotions? | Yes — longer hires attract better daily rates, automatically applied once you enter dates on the booking page. |
Do you offer one-way rentals? | Yes — one-way journeys (e.g., to Queenstown) are available; fees apply. Enquire during the booking process. |
What is your cleaning and smoking policy? | Our vehicles are non-smoking. Please return the car tidy; excessive cleaning or evidence of smoking may incur a fee. See Terms. |
What if I receive a speeding or parking fine? | Infringements are the hirer’s responsibility. If authorities contact us, we may pass on your details and/or charge the fine plus a reasonable admin fee. See Terms. |
What happens if the car is damaged (tyres, wheels, windscreen)? | You’re responsible for damage outside fair wear and tear. Some excess-reduction options may include windscreen/tyre cover. |
