What types of cars do you have available?
We have several types of cars available:

how do I go about charging the EV carS?
The car comes with a mobile charger, so you can charge it at your accommodation or at any of the thousands of chargers available around New Zealand.

Are there any additional fees?
The costs listed are all you'll pay. When you come to pickup your car, there is a $500 bond to pay, which is refunded when you return the car to us.
Is there a minimum rental period?
You can hire a car from us for as little as 24 hours.

Are there any age or other restrictions on who can rent a car?
Yes, you need to be at least 25 years old to hire a car from us.
Are there any discounts or promotions currently available?
We have discount available on long hires, and our website will automatically work out the best possible prices for you once you put in the dates that you'd like to hire for.
Are insurance and roadside assistance included in the rental cost?
Yes Roadside Assistance is included with your hire.
What are the Charge and mileage policies?
A standard hire allows 250km per day, based on the average of the full booking. If you hire for 10 days, you can travel 2500km within the allowance. If you go over the 250km/day allowance, there is a $0.40 per/km charge. The only exclusion to this, is the Toyota Yaris rental cars are charged at $0.60 per km over the 250km daily limit.
EVs: When you pick a car up from us, it'll be fully charged. We ask that the car comes back to us with at least 75% charge, or else we charge a $35 fee.
Can your cars be used on gravel roads and ski fields?
Only our Suzuki Jimnys are available for gravel roads. The Teslas, GR Yaris or the Motorhome are not to be used on gravel roads.
What are the options for airport pickup?
We can bring a car right to the terminal for you, or we can arrange to pick you up and bring you to our office to collect your vehicle. Please contact us if you have further questions.
